Yesterday my in laws were here. I spent time with them, and watched my guilty pleasure TV show, "Married at First Sight," when I should have been napping. It is one of the few completely (literally, completely) unproductive things I like to do. The other one being angry birds.
It's just so suspenseful and interesting to think about whether or not these couples will "make" it! And I hope they do! Plus, the show is really sexy, in an actual uplifting and sexy way. It goes into the interesting details about what makes marriage work, including things as boring as finances and personal grooming habits! I very much enjoy seeing these people work at it, and yes, it is completely voyeuristic. My husband can't stand the show, and everybody around me seems to share the opinion that it "cheapens marriage." They are probably right on some level. I still want to watch it, if only to see how it ends. Maybe that makes me shallow? Oh well.
Today I went to playgroup. Lots of people showed up (finally)! I had a fun time talking with my friends and my boys actually played happily together for about an hour! No fights!!!! WOW!!!!! Miracle.
Other than that, I spent some time writing the "About the title" page for this blog.
